Our 100% pure organic Sweet Almond oil helps the skin to balance the loss and absorption of moisture. As with Jojoba Oil, Sweet Almond Oil can be used on all skin types, regardless of age and has many uses. Not only does almond oil help protect the surface of the skin against the elements, but it can be used as a make-up remover and acts as skin emollient, soother, softener and conditioner - promoting a clear young looking complexion. Sweet Almond oil is wonderful for nourishing the delicate skin under the eyes to help prevent "crow's feet". Sweet Almond oil also helps relieve irritation, inflammation and itching and can help relieve muscular aches and pains.
Because this oil is not an overly fast penetrating oil it is a good lubricant and can be used for massage as it allows time before being absorbed by the skin. It can also be mixed with exfoliants for body and facial scrubs and if you make your own soap, Sweet almond oil can be used for superfatting soaps and making stable lather.
Sweet Almond oil is similar in composition to the oil baby's excrete to keep their skin and hair healthy and is a wonderful oil for baby massages.
It has a rich concentration of oleic and linoleic essential fatty acids as well as glucosides, minerals and vitamins A, B1, B2, B6 and E which are essential for skin nourishment.
Safety
Do not take internally. Keep out of reach of children. Avoid if you have an allergy to nuts. This oil can leave a stain on clothing and sheets.
